Three ways
to reach me.
Yosemite Life is a sole-operator business. The same person answers all three channels. That person is Eric. And I'm the one on the trail with you.
Free 15-min planning call
with Eric.
The fastest way to figure out which trip is right for you. We'll talk fitness, dates, goals, and any questions, over a Zoom video call or a regular phone call, whichever's easier for you. No pressure, no upsell. Most of my bookings start here.

Call or text
anytime.
Not an answering service, not a Google Voice routing. It's my phone. Texts welcomed and often the fastest channel, especially when I'm in the field and can't pick up.

Often within an hour
Send an email.
For longer questions, gear inquiries, custom-trip ideas. The kind of thing that needs more than a text. I read everything that comes in and reply personally.
Under 24 hr
Or send it in writing.
For questions that need a bit more room than a text message. I'll reply within 24 hours, usually faster.
General response window
Under 24 hours
I check messages throughout the day, so you'll usually hear back the same day.
When I'm in the backcountry
I reply when I'm back
I'm off-grid while leading a trip, with no cell or text service out there. Trips run from a weekend to about a week, so a mid-trip message can sit several days.
Where I'm based
California (Pacific time)
I live and guide here. I'm reachable during daytime hours. Booking from overseas? My clients do it all the time, and we'll find a time that works.
Most bookings start with a planning call.
